4 Things New, Kinda Borrowed, and Definitely Not Blue

Greetings, all!

New seasons in the natural and spiritual are upon us! The weather is surprisingly cool for us Floridians who normally bake until approximately 350 degrees, and then remove to cool on a rack in November…

There is already a pile of nicely browned leaves on the driveway at my grandparents house and I have sufficiently stomped through them and frolicked to my heart’s content. After this post, I’m going to take stock photos of the beautiful brown, orange, and golden pieces. And I have a candle called “Leaves” from Bath & Body Works that graces my room every fall……am I sensing a theme here? LEAVES!!! Yes!!!! I love that they FALL every year….HA!
Side note: I don’t think I’m that funny of a person, but I crack myself up all the time. That way at least someone gets a laugh out of every day! 🙂

So, I wrote this post for pretty much one reason. To share some recent things in the form of photos. Nothing too exhausting or time consuming….just a few pictures and gifts for you. 🙂 Here we go…

1. This shirt I made.

It says “Go forth and have no fear” in a nerdy script that reminds me of Lord of the Rings……
I made it for Worship Night since God had been saying things of this theme to me for the past month. In my quest to hear God’s audible voice and learning to love others, He provided me with these verses:
*”When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours,<span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NIV-5429A" data-link="(A)” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;”> do not be afraid<span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NIV-5429B" data-link="(B)” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;”> of them,<span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NIV-5429C" data-link="(C)” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;”> because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with<span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NIV-5429D" data-link="(D)” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-family: ‘Helvetica Neue’, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;”> you.” Deuteronomy 20:1
*”His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, He does not delight in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those whose hope is in His mercy.” Psalm 147:11-12
I’ll let you soak that in and let it be a Word for you today. 🙂

2. This picture of Harbor…..LOLOLOL

Nuff said. HAHAHA

3. A recent sunset that took my breath away..

4. My favorite announcement…..!!! EEEEK!
So, there is a time for everything. Including change. Actually change is happening all the time, so really, time is change…..*pause for philosophical contemplation* 😉
In this season of my life, God has been challenging me to explore the pieces of myself that I hide away and don’t show often. And that little meek corner for me is art. Yes, I am a photographer. But this time, it’s another love of mine. Watercolor. I asked the Lord how I can use it for His glory. He told me, “How do you use it now?’ I thought and answered that I did it to worship. I did it to know Him more by attaching visuals to memory verses. This is widely popular in the art world presently, so it’s nothing new. But for me, it’s effective and I know I’m always producing something new to help hide His word away in my heart. I’m a very visual person, so this is right down my cute cobblestone alleyway. I’d like to share some of my art each week (maybe). Feel free to download it for yourself! Use it as a computer background. iPhone or iPad background, even! Maybe the Lord will reveal what He wills me to do next through art. Maybe I’ll open a shoppe one day….yes with a renaissance-y “e” at the end…..:) Here you are, lovelies!
Until next time!!! Ta-ta, now!
