1st Anniversary Vacation To The Smoky Mountains | Part 3

Welcome to the 3rd and possibly final installation of our anniversary trip to the mountains! There are a lot of extra photos of Elk and random fishing-in-the-river shots, but this post holds my favorites. For the last part of our trip, we stayed with Joshua’s grandparents in their cozy camper by Deep Creek. They are backed up right against the perfect rushing creek that we went fishing in. It was my heaven! Except for the fact that when we went fishing in the river, I cast all of G-Pa’s lures up into the lush foliage of the riverbanks since I’m used to fishing down here in wide-open Florida! LOL. And if it wasn’t in the trees, it was stuck in the river rocks at the bottom. Looks like I’ll be visiting more often to practice my casting skills! 😀

This is called Waterrock Knob! This view was gorgeous, but wan’t even the top! :O

This is the creek! Love me some Deep Creek. ❤
